well first of all beeing in a relationship means that you are commited to one guy and one guy only. Yes of course you can have male friends however you dont flirt with them or be to friendly in any way at all thats why you have a boyfriend for. I understand how and why he feels that way. Most of the time a break up happens there is a very slim chance to get back together for what ever the reason. I suggest you stay freinds with him however not see him becasue seeing him will just hurt you and want him back more. i had the same thing happen to me. i was upset too.even had the breakdown.just think like this:i never cheated he has some trust issuses and if he cant trust me then ill have to move on cuz he may never trust me but try to gain his trust back tell him nothing but the truth .
you should prolly just talk to him and tell him you want him back, and if he does he will take you back, if not leave him alone, or try talking to him about a summer fling, since summer is right around the corner, best of luck! and have fun, if the fling works out :)

the best thing to do now is move on, youve made it clear how you feel about him and if he doesnt care then theres no chance.
tell him not to eat with your family and not to hang out with you any more, he's the one being clingy, how can he still act like everythings normal?

Give him time. Be friendly but not assertive. You could go the other way and hang out with him but pay attention to others, but that has a chance to backfire. Men are possessive creatures and when they lay claim to a girl they don't want any other man getting attention from you, this may be cause to why he thought he was cheating on you. Plus jumping to conclusions doesn't help. So lower your level of attention to him, if he wants more, then go with it, if he doesn't then he really doesn't want to get back together.
